Maximum care for people has always been a fundamental pillar of our actions. At a time like the current one, this value becomes even more relevant. For this reason, we are proud to support initiatives such as the União Rio Movement and Winning Together. These projects are making a difference in society and transforming lives at a delicate moment like the current one.
UNIÃO RIO MOVEMENT
União Rio is a voluntary civil society movement in Rio de Janeiro that brings together individuals and non-governmental organizations seeking to overcome the crisis caused by the coronavirus. We work with the organizers to manage activities and resources, focusing on providing better conditions for professionals who are on the front line of the struggle and for people in situations of social vulnerability. The focus was defined so that professionals can perform their functions safely, especially so that they are not also fatal victims of the pandemic, and to provide support to the thousands of families that live in favelas and areas of social vulnerability and are unable to work.
The movement's activities are divided into two fronts and includes the best management and governance practices:
Health: Activation of beds in hospitals and purchase of personal protective equipment from professionals who are on the front line.
Communities: Distribution of food and cleaning items to communities.

WINNING TOGETHER
In partnership with REMS and with support from UNESCO, the project brings together heavyweight athletes and some organizations with the objective of helping families from vulnerable communities in Brazil.
The initiative has the initial goal of serving 33,000 families through food voucher cards with a monthly charge of R$100.00 for 3 months.
